GradPrint FAQ's
Set-up & Pricing What are the set-up costs for our group? There are no set-up costs. What if we set up a program and no one from our school orders cards? Are there penalties? There are never any penalties or out-of-pocket costs for your organization. We consistently receive positive feedback from current clients that students find these cards very useful and we are confident that your colleagues will order business cards. We have to get authorization from the university? What does that entail? This means having a university official approve us to use University logos and trademarks. Once your group puts us in contact with the proper person, we do the rest. What are the responsibilities of our group? Once your group decides to offer business cards through GradPrint, you'll help us to locate the right administration officials so that we can get approval to use logos and trademarks. Later, your group will publicize the program - usually by sending emails to students. Finally, schools often ask for a person to verify that all people who order are actual, enrolled students. If this request is made, your group will facilitate finding a person to use our online system to verify student orders. Who sets the price for the business cards? How do you decide commissions? The base price for the business card is determined by our costs for card production (2-color vs. 4-color for example). Then you let us know if you're interested in commissions. This is usually added on to the base price. Some school groups would rather forgo commissions and have a low price for the cards. Other groups look to the cards as a fundraiser. We will tailor a price level and commission level to meet your needs. Call or email us to learn more. Production Questions Who decides what the business cards look like? In almost all cases, your university already has a pre-approved template that can be used as-is, or with slight modification. How can our organization be sure that the cards are of premium quality? After receiving digital artwork & production requirements from your university, we will print and send you a sample set of cards that you can check for quality. Ordering Questions Does each student order individually, or do we have to send one check in to you? Students order and pay individually using our online site. Can students order with credit cards? Yes, we accept Mastercard and Visa during the order process. How do we ensure that only our school's students order? There are two ways we make sure of this. First, we create a proprietary, password-protected order page for each of our clients. Second, we have a verification stage before printing that enables the university or student group to quickly check all orders against current student data. The members of our student organization are busy - is the program something that is going to take a lot of time to run? Our program is specially designed to minimize the time spent by students. There are no day-to-day responsibilities regarding ordering, production or billing. However this is not a completely hands-off program. Setting up the program will take time, and so will sending out publicity emails. And if your school asks for an identity-verification of people who order, (takes about 20 minutes per 100 orders) your group will need to locate someone to do this. What happens if there is a mistake with a particular student's order? What is your refund policy? GradPrint has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If an order is misprinted, or does not look exactly like the online-proof generated during the order process, we will reprint the cards, no questions asked.
